REPORTSProject Circles for Discussion ONE DAY PROJECT MESSAGE

Water Food life
As a preparation for this Water Project, we considered a topic "Where doeswater come from and go to?" at first. Students at an elementary school in the U.S. made an antion plan for improving a more healthy food life. Students at another elementary school in the U.S. studied the usage of the agrichemicals as growing crops, and also learnt the usage of agrichemicals was connected with a market and consumers deeply.
Llifestyle / Society Trash
Participants of this project have been considering "relationship" in our lifestyle and our community/society. Children in Japan became to realize that the Japanese has lost something in their daily life in exchange of obtaining a convenient and abundant life, though in Woleai people still have a custom of "having a good relationship in neighborhood" and "helping each other" in general.Students of an elementary school in Japan, who had been doing a recycling activity in order to reduce trash as less as possible, are discussing the aim of activities for the environment. They asked other participants about the meaning of the kind of activity like recycling or other voluntary activity.
