Send WSN application to info@wschool.net.
2. Office procedures
The WSN office will put your e-mail address in our navigators' mailing list (connect@wschool.net) and inform you of your ID and password, which allows you to make entries into the Kids' Wisdom-Base, the online participatory database where kids interact.
3. Explore the Kids' Wisdom-Base
Read up on children's reports in the Kids' Wisdom-Baseto get yourself up to date on what activities different groups are carrying out. Please see genre discriptions below.
4. Self Introductions

Send introduction of yourself (navigator/teacher) to connect@wschool.net

Have children test new password for the Kids' Wisdom-Base by submitting self introduction to "About Members".
5. Community-based activities
Carry out your own community-based activities (sparked by articles from the Kids' Wisdom-Base or independently).
6. Report activities
Report your activities, questions, and ideas to the Kids' Wisdom-Base.
7. Reflect and continue activities
Reflect on activities as well as comments from other groups and continue with community-based activities.
*Remember that you can contact the office or WSN design team to brainstorm about how to connect your children with others.

About Members
This genre can be used to make group introductions. A variety of introductions depicting group activities, surrounding environment and daily life can be submitted.
Children's Plaza
Children share discoveries, happenings and opinions from their things daily lives. This genre is also where participants invite one another to share in collaborative surveys.
WSN PROJECTS
Wisdom in the World
Reports from "Exploration for Wisdom: the world" which began in 2002 and has been carried out in America and Israel.
Micronesia Reports
Reports from the 1999-2001 adventure project "Micronesia Project".
Exploration Nippon
Reports from the 1999-2001 adventure project "Exploration for Wisdom" during which Environmental Correspondent walked the length of Japan.

Food and Farm
Children share ideas, questions and doubts based on discoveries of food culture.
Water and Land
Hear about the rivers, oceans and forests in participants' communities as well as their characteristics and the living creatures which reside there.
Wildlife
Groups share projects focusing on a variety of living creatures, from bugs to dogs to fish to bears to whales!
Trash and Recycling
Genre focusing on a variety of issues about trash and recycling.
Discover My Town
Introduce the discoveries and wisdom of communities WSN children live in and share with the world.
My Wisdom
Simple and wise ways to protect the planet which kids have discovered in their daily lives. Both old and new "wisdom" is shared here.
Home Town Kitchen
Reports of recipes, ingredients, and taste, of local foods that are rooted in community.
Community Pride
In January 2003, the "Community Pride" forum was created so students could reevaluate the characteristics of their communities, learn about each others' communities, and report about the trials and successes of their communities.
"Use it Again!" Gallery
Genre created out of activities in "Trash and Recycling". Participants from 2003 activities share their works created out of used materials to reduce trash.
