Summary of June
Students of Heiwa Junior High School spent three hours without
convenience of electricity. They came up with a detailed and unique
report on their experience such as preparing a bath with firewood and
taking a meal under candlelight. They report and say that they enjoyed
their experience very much though they somehow did get bored, as they
could not use electricity. Greg also tried and spent three hours without
electricity. He says that it was easy to spend hours without electricity
in the mountains, but he found it hard in his usual daily life in Tokyo.
