Questions and Answers

How do you track your achievements? Or judge where you are going?
Because we are not doing our own projects, we have a lot of time to ourselves. We don't run around trying to manage projects. At the same time, whenever we do activities in a particulat prefecture, we use the CBOs and NGOs of that prefecture there. So the core work is done by them. We have four focus areas, which are capacity development, networking and research, education and training, and networking. We try to stay within this broader framework. We don't have specific objectives saying we have to train so many people by such and such a time. Our focus is more on a long-term vision, which is enabling communities to voice their own opinions, to be able to do their own things and more importantly to be able to ask questions to the authorities, to the projects that are supposed to be working for them, to their local administrators. So that is the main thing we try to do with that.
