Okamotokita Elementary School(June 26)

This time we started our study with Greg. When Greg was kind enough to visit our school last year, we announced on our familiar " Wisdom" we collected around us. Greg answered ," People of the old days had used water carefully, hadn't they ?" Making this statement the start, our concerns have been directed to water after we were promoted to the fourth grade. Then we think that this year we take another look at Uchi River flowing by the school and Tani River, its source, and think " water" over again .

1. The source of Tani River . Water is gushing out of the root of tree. There used to be the god of water and the washery.	2. The creek of the upper reaches is clean and its water seems good to drink.	3. It is said there live plants and animals found in the creek in the old days.	4. Tried to filter the pond's water of our school in order to know water well. Crushing some charcoal.
5. Collecting the sand of river.	6. Washing some gravel with pond's water.	7. Cut and wash a hemp palm.	8. Filtering some water in the pond. It became clear after filtering it two three times. Someone dared to drink water though the teacher said "No".
