Crow is great!
Nakano 7th Junior High School/Nature Investigation Club(July 10)

27th June 2000
Mr. Iguchi is an adviser of Nature Investigation Club. He found a dead crow on the road in Washimiya, Nakano ward on the way to school in one morning. He passed dead crow once, but he went back there and put it into a plastic bag, then he took it to school. Because he has an interest in the incident that the number of damage that crows attack people is incresing.

We examined the dead crow after school. This crow is big, isn't it? The wingspsan is about 80cm(30inches). The dead crow is on the 30cm(12inches)-square concrete plste. He's black. This black color is very beautiful. He has a big bill, which is about 6cm in length. I assume that crow is a young bird because the collor is still pink at the bottom of his bill. Also, I can say the crow is still young because his forehead doesn't stand out.Generally Hashibuto crow's horehead is standing -out. Sometimes he scratches people by claws. He sometimes attack pigeon by these claws and eat it. He has big legs!

We buried him after this observation. Please sleep well, Mr. Crow!
