Children Conference, Kume-Minami is the conference where the fifth and six
grade three-elementary school students in our town exchange outcomes one
another and have them in common. We listen to various people every year
after three elementary schools report their activities. We select the
conference day from the term of the third Friday to the forth Friday in
November and the day before Labor Thanksgiving Day with considering
lecturers' circumstances and three elementary schools' events.
In the case that three schools wrestle with the same problem together, we
ask the person who relate with the activity to be a lecturer. And the
teachers who relate with an annual activity mainly lead the Children
Conference and the other schools take part in it.
We thought it's a good chance that Greg would walked around the western
Japan this year.Thus, Kume-Minami Town Media Department invited Greg.
It usually seems that foreign countries, especially Western countries are
great. But we wished children to have a chance to be taught and consider
what is good of Japan for foreigners.

The outcome of Media Lab
It is one of the events that the students are looking foward to every
year.They had confidence in their own activities with respecting the other
schools' activities.All students of Tanjyoji elementary school take part in
the conference.
The role Greg played at Children Point"Kumenan"
We asked him to evaluate each school's activity and difine the
significance.And he picked up some great wisdom in Kume-Minami town where we
live and made the children have a new understanding what is good.

The presentation time is short every year. But the children gave their
impression to the school that had made a presentation this year. I thought
that it was good for the children.
The advice to other navigator
It is a very profound and significant activity. Thus, you can't wrestle
with it if you have the other thing you have to do.I recommend the schools
that don't know what to do. But I think that the participants in WSN have
a lot of things they want to do.
