Comments form Chef
When ume harvest time came around Ms. Ishihara's grandmother used to make ume extract with her grandmother. No one taught her how to make it. One just by one's parents and watched. Nobody taught anything. Kids watched and remembered things. People in the old days were so busy they didn't have time to teach this and that to kids.

How was it?
Super sour!!! But since I have been eating this everyday, all problems with my stomach have disappeared. It has a "this is good for your body"-type flavor.
