Recipe
Fry one landlocked Salmon until cooked through and crisp on the outside.

Pick mushrooms nearby (picking mushrooms can be vary dangerous! do not do this unadvised). Boil them and mix them with vinegar and sliced cucumber.

Memo
The landlocked salmon can be eaten whole! You get every last bit of nutrition from the fish and leave no trash. Mr. Yukuwa says if you eat the meat of the fish and the head or bones together, it goes down smoothly and tastes good.
This particular landlocked salmon is grew up in the spring water that Mr. Yukawa so carefully looks after (see my daily report).


How was it?
Mmmm! The salmon was a bit crunchy going down but delicious.


Yamanashi!
The water and forest in Yamanashi Prefecture have been so clean that the Emperor used to get ayu delivered from Doshi! Clean water and plentiful forest mean fish and plenty of mushrooms.
